At Belcanto we provide a supportive and inspiring environment where you can flourish. Our commitment to excellence, combined with a whole lot of fun, ensures that every student (whether young or old) experiences a journey in the performing arts filled with growth, fun and endless possibilities.  So step into the spotlight and let your artistic spirit soar at our one-of-a-kind centre. 

All of our teachers are qualified to teach dance and performing arts in both the private and public sector, hold relevant safeguarding and first aid certificates, and carry out regular professional development within their chosen field(s). 

 

Having over 35 years experience teaching both children and adults you will be in excellent 'hands' and acquire a professional experience whilst at the school.

We hold classes in Watton at the Carbrooked Community Hub (mid week)  and  in Kings Lynn (weekends) for both children and adults

Our Weekly Classes

A 60 minute session combining all technical aspects of the three core dance genres.  Develops posture, alignment, co-ordination, stimulates the mind and creates flair and artistry. ​

Sessions are held on a Wednesday evening at Carbrook Community Hub, Watton.

Children's Tap/Modern/Ballet

Individually tailored Singing/Music sessions of 30 mins/60 mins where candidates can work on musicianship, audition prep, and preparing for examinations with Rock School and Performance Medals with Independent Dance Training.

Sessions are held on a Tuesday & Thursday evening in Watton and a Saturday (daytime) in Kings Lynn

1:1  Sessions

Ultimately, tap dancing provides adults with an opportunity to express themselves through movement, improve physical fitness, connect with others and most importantly have fun!  It is a fun class that allows the individual to explore their creativity, gain confidence, and enjoy the exhilarating rhythms of tap dance.

Adult Tap Classes 

Taking part in an adult ballet class can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.  The class allows participants to reconnect with their love of dance, improve physical fitness and express themselves creatively.  Whether you are a beginner or have previous dance experience, this class will offer a welcoming and non-judgemental environment to explore the beautiful art of ballet. 

Sessions are held on a Wednesday evening at Carbrooke Community Hub, Watton

Adult Ballet Fitness 

Taking part in an adult jazz class will help improve physical fitness, cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, co-ordination and body awareness. All whilst learning a routine using well-known musical theatre songs from the shows.  Whether you are a beginner or have previous dance experience, this class will offer you a creative outlet to explore your theatrical side! ​
